Kiev Museum of Pushkin was opened in May 1999, on the eve of the 200-th birth anniversary of the great poet. The museum exposition is based on the private collection of Kiev collector and researcher of Pushkin's life - Yakov Berdichevsky, who presented his collection to the city in 1987.
