engMonument of the outstanding Ukrainian football coach Valeriy Lobanovskiy was opened near the entrance to «Dinamo» stadium in May 2003. Valeriy Lobanovskiy sits in the stressed pose on the coach banch and watches the game. Any person can sit side by side with the famous coach.
Pedestal of the monument looks like a globe — giant football ball. It was manufactured from acrylic, bronze, granite and stainless metal. Total weight of the sculpture is over 5 tons, sculptor — Vladimir Filatov.
