The monument to Lenin — communist party leader and organizer of October revolution in Russia in 1917.
The monument to Vladimir Lenin was placed on bulvar Khmelnitskiy axis on 5 December in 1946. The author of the monument is sculptor Merkulov. Lenin’s figure is cut from dark-red polished granite which contrasts with black color of pedestal.
